statements

so, I wrote the letter.
I gave it to her.
I don't know what she's thinking,
I don't know if she's read it or not.
I just wanted to lay it out in the open.
a statement of acknowledgment,
that I know we've been drifting.
nothing more.
I don't expect her to read it and be like omgosh I've been such a jerk how could I have done this
I just wanted to let her know
how I feel.
and I hope she understands
that's all I wanted to say.
